AXLE RAILCAR MOVER

The Axle Railcar Mover is our most versatile mover. It is ideal for applications that feature bi-directional movement, empty and full cars, up to 75,000 lbs of force, and have space limitations.

Configurations of Axle type movers; indexer or progressor.

An indexer attaches to the axle of the railcar and completes its cycle of motion then detaches and retrieves to the next railcar. A progressor maintains continuous movement through the use of two attachment points, one retrieving while the other is pushing.

Configurations:

  • Single or Reversing Direction

  • Indexer or Progressor

  • Push or pull on Railcar Axle

Features:

  • A Progressor moves the cars in a continuous motion

  • An Indexer indexes one car length at a time

  • Maximum allowable force on an axle is 75,000 pounds
